Award Night of the Swiss Dialog Marketing Award 2010

On May 28, 2010, the time had come: The gods of dialog marketing were crowned at the Kongresshaus Zurich. 3 gold, 5 silver and 12 bronze awards were handed out.

The shortlist for the Dialog Marketing Award 2010 had already been known since the beginning of April. But it was not until Friday, May 28, 2010 - some two months later - that the secret of the winners was revealed.
The 2010 Dialog Marketing Award Night at the Kongresshaus in Zurich was all about Olympus, as presenter Eva Nidecker chose the gods of dialog marketing. 24 times it was "And the winner is ...".
The jury presented 3 gold, 5 silver and 12 bronze awards. No fewer than four awards went to Agentur am Flughafen, which thus leads the award ranking, ahead of Publicis Dialog with three awards and the agencies OgilvyOne AG and the Y&R Group with two awards each. Three awards went to agencies from Germany.
No award in the "Printed, non-personalized promotional materials" category
After tough discussions, the jury under Chairman Guido Wietlisbach decided not to present an award in the category "Printed, non-personalized advertising materials" this year. In doing so, it is sending out a signal about the quality of the Swiss Dialog Marketing Award and calling on agencies and clients to submit the best quality work in this category again next year.
The Platinum Award
Whoever wins the platinum award sponsored by Swiss Post will be at the helm of the dialog gods for a year. The jury's responsibility was correspondingly great. To thunderous applause, the agency at the airport was finally able to accept the coveted award for the mailing "When a newsletter becomes a shopping bag".
The Audience Award
During the dialog marketing exhibition, several works were chosen as candidates for the audience award. In the subsequent e-voting, two works were in a neck-and-neck race. In the end, the agency Heber.Link.Asendorf from Winterthur secured direct entry into the Olympus. Significantly, the title of their work was: "Hit the nail on the head".
The Junior Award
In 2010, the SDV Junior Award was presented for the first time. The aim is nothing less than to generate communication ideas for the 2011 Dialog Marketing Award. The young talents let their heads smoke and submitted exciting works. Accordingly, it was difficult for the jury to make a decision in this category. That's why two juniors received an award. According to the motto of the SDV Juniorsclub, each received a "fadegraade" boxing glove.
The winning brochure with all the works can be downloaded as a PDF from the website www.dm-preis.ch can be downloaded.
In a statement, organizer Marc Zehnder, Kleistermeister Eventsolutions, thanked all agencies for participating in the Swiss Dialog Marketing Award 2010 and all sponsors for their cooperation. In this context, the sponsors in kind, who sponsored paper, envelopes and more, and the agency Ulmann+Partner from Lucerne, which took care of the overall communication under the sign of Olympus, should be mentioned.
