Stephan Howeg becomes partner at Lemongrass Communications
Stephan Howeg will join the Lemongrass Communications team as a partner and co-owner effective January 1, 2023. Drawing on his many years of international experience, he will advise companies, organizations, and public figures on strategic communications, reputation management, governance, and sustainability issues.

After 25 years in leading positions on the corporate side, Stephan Howeg has decided to bring his experience and expertise to consulting. At Lemongrass Communi- cations, he will advise members of boards of directors, executive boards and communication leaders on strategic communication, reputation, governance and sustainability issues and support them in transaction and transformation processes as well as organizational change. Howeg has many years of experience in internal and external communications, strategy, issues management, organizational development, sustainability, branding, marketing and employee engagement with national and international companies in various industries.
Previously with Adecco
For the past 15 years, Stephan Howeg has been with the global Adecco Group. From 2015 to 2022, as a member of the Executive Committee and Chief Marketing & Communications Officer and Chief of Staff, he and his team helped position the Adecco Group, strengthen its reputation with thought leadership initiatives, introduce digital marketing, roll out integrated sustainability management and build the Group's foundation. From 2019, Howeg additionally led strategy development, global transformation and the CEO Office. From 2007 to 2015, he was responsible for the Group's global communications, strategic partnerships and sustainability (ESG) and, with his team, established global employee engagement programs such as Win4Youth, CEO for One Month and the Athlete Career Program for career planning for Olympic athletes.
Before joining the Adecco Group, Howeg headed Corporate Communications and Public Affairs at UPC-Cablecom from 2003 to 2007 and was involved in the turnaround, IPO and trade sale as a member of the Executive Board. Between 2001 and 2003, he was responsible for global communications, marketing and investor relations at Ascom. At Sunrise, from 1997 to 2001, as Head of Communications and later Marketing and Communications, he was involved in the market launch, positioning and successful development of the company.
Stephan Howeg is currently completing a master's degree in applied ethics at the University of Zurich. He holds a master's degree in history, philosophy and sociology from the University of Zurich and studied corporate management, digital marketing and communication at IMD in Lausanne, INSEAD in Fontainebleau and Harvard Business School in Cambridge. His professional career started with a four-year apprenticeship as a polymechanic at FERAG AG.
