Roman Hartmann, co-founder of Farmy, speaks on the m&k Werbewoche podcast Off the Record, what makes Farmy so unique, where he and his partner came up with the brilliant idea for an online farm store, and just how demanding the B Corp certification process is.
Farmyfounded in 2014 by Roman Hartmann and Tobias Schubert, offers over 14,500 hand-picked products from more than 1,200 authentic producers. In the metropolitan regions of Zurich and Lake Geneva, delivery is even free of charge and with its own e-mobile fleet.
During the pandemic, the young company grew by 170 percent. In May 2022, Farmy became the first Swiss company to receive B Corp certification. "B Corp" stands for "Benefit Corporations", i.e. companies that meet the highest standards in terms of sustainability.
