On our own account: New co-editor-in-chief for m&k and werbewoche.ch
After doubling its print circulation and winning the 2022 European Publishing Award, the editorial board of m&k and werbewoche.ch is reorganizing: Johannes Hapig, previously deputy editor-in-chief, and Anna Kohler, editor-in-chief and editorial director, have been leading the media outlets as a «co-leadership team» since the beginning of April.

However, the efforts that had to be made to deal with the same paid off. 2020 was m&k was voted the country's best trade publication by the Swiss Media Association; in 2022, the paper received the European Publishing Award as the best B2B medium. Circulation has doubled and distribution has been expanded via Switzerland's biggest airports, among others.
New lineup for further development
Against the background of these successes, Galledia Fachmedien AG and the editorial staff have decided to take over the management and development of m&k and Advertisingweek.ch broader base: The previous deputy editor-in-chief, Johannes Hapig, is being given more responsibility and will take on the title of editor-in-chief with immediate effect. Anna Kohler, the previous Editor-in-Chief and Head of Journalism, will retain her position - so the two will now effectively form a "dual leadership". Sarah Willi will continue as head of online editorial, supported by editor Christoph Soltmannowski.
"Insanely excited for what's to come".
"Anna Kohler and I have been working together since my first day at m&k together - that I now have the opportunity to shape the future of the paper and our online presence in a dual leadership with her is a great privilege," says Johannes Hapig. The past few years have shown the potential of media that are produced with passion and that print also has a future. His promotion is an incentive for Hapig to work for m&k and Advertisingweek.ch to think even bigger. "I'm really looking forward to what's coming," he says.
"Johannes Hapig and I have been a great team of equals since day one over four years ago. I am very grateful that Johannes is now leading the editorial team together with me. It's a well-deserved promotion for him and a well-deserved relief for me," sums up Anna Kohler, Editor-in-Chief and Publishing Director. "We have a lot planned and I'm really looking forward to it."
