CH Media bundles printing division - Rolf Steiner and Heinz Meyer head new business unit
CH Media is consolidating the operations of its printing plants in Aarau, St. Gallen Winkeln, and Derendingen into the newly formed, integrated «Printing» business unit. Rolf Steiner and his deputy, as well as Heinz Meyer, Head of Marketing & Sales, are in charge of the new division.
CH Media is consolidating the operations of its two newspaper printing plants in Aarau and St. Gallen Winkeln, as well as its commercial printing plant in Derendingen, into the new integrated business unit «Printing.» Under the umbrella of this strategic business unit, cross-location collaboration among Switzerland’s three most innovative printing centers of excellence will be strengthened, and their expertise will be combined. Customers are set to benefit from this enhanced cross-location collaboration, which brings together concentrated expertise and new, innovative printing processes.
At CH Media’s printing facilities in Aarau, St. Gallen Winkeln, and Derendingen, daily and weekly newspapers, advertising materials, and high-quality magazines and catalogs are produced using state-of-the-art equipment. Thanks to close cross-site collaboration, customers benefit from new, innovative possibilities. The product range is being expanded to include hybrid print products that combine state-of-the-art printing processes—for example, with the content printed using LED newspaper printing and the cover using sheetfed offset printing.

The new strategic business unit «Printing» will be led by Rolf Steiner and his deputy, Heinz Meyer, who also serves as Head of Marketing & Sales. The operating companies Vogt-Schild Druck AG, with Rolf Steiner as managing director, and CH Media Print AG, led by Heinz Meyer, will continue to operate as before.
