Radio Basilisk: Benjamin Bruni replaces Jean-Luc Wicki as program director
The private radio station in northwestern Switzerland is getting a new program director. As of May 1, 2022, the current editor-in-chief Benjamin Bruni will be the new head of programming at Radio Basilisk. He succeeds Jean-Luc Wicki, who will take over as head of music.

The board of directors of Radio Basilisk Betriebs AG has elected Benjamin Bruni, 33, as the new program director. He succeeds Jean-Luc Wicki.
Benjamin Bruni has been with Radio Basilisk since 2007. After his time as editor and head of sports, he has been part of the program management as editor-in-chief since 2015 and is responsible for the journalistic direction.
The change is also in line with Jean-Luc Wicki's wishes, the board of directors emphasizes. Wicki has been working as program director for Radio Basilisk since his return around seven years ago. In the future, he would like to concentrate on his duties as head of music.
Chairman of the Board of Directors Matthias Hagemann says of the change in program management: "I am delighted to have gained Benjamin Bruni, an experienced radio man, as program manager. Together with our broad-based team, he will lead the "Radio Basilisk" brand into a successful future."
The designated program director Benjamin Bruni can be quoted as follows: "I am very happy to lead our station with the great team of Radio Basilisk. Together with our loyal advertising and event partners, we want to tackle the challenges in the media industry and offer our listeners the best music and a varied and entertaining radio program."
Benjamin Bruni will take up his position as program director on May 1, 2022.
