"Mister Swiss Solidarity" Roland Jeanneret dead at 74
Roland Jeanneret, a longtime radio host and communications director for «Glückskette,» has died. He passed away on December 17 at the age of 74 from complications of a COVID-19 infection.

Jeanneret's death coincides with the 75th anniversary of Swiss Solidarity, which he had helped to make popular with numerous collections, Christian Lüscher, a longtime friend and former work colleague of Jeanneret, told the Keystone-SDA news agency. The Swiss media had therefore often referred to Jeanneret as "Mister Swiss Solidarity".
