New Swiss channel 7+ launches with colorful family programming
7+ kicks off this Friday, October 1, 2021, with entertainment for the whole family. CH Media Entertainment’s newest national TV channel will air daily series and movie highlights for viewers of all ages starting at 8:15 p.m.
As part of the comprehensive strategic cooperation with ViacomCBS Networks International Switzerland, CH Media will take over the operation of the popular children's channel Nick Schweiz from Friday, October 1, 2021. Nick Schweiz offers the best children's programming from 6:00 a.m. to 8:15 p.m., and from 8:15 p.m. the new 7+ family program will be broadcast.
The newest CH Media Entertainment TV station starts October with a diverse family program. Every Monday evening, 7+ puts its laughing muscles to the test with the popular Comedy Central formats "Standup 3000," in which three comedians each perform on an over-the-top theme, and "Roast Battle," a verbal comedy duel between two comedians. Tuesday nights belong to Springfield's most famous family, "The Simpsons." Every Wednesday night will feature a children's movie or series highlight, and Thursday night kicks off with four teenage friends who suddenly find fame as a band, with the hit U.S. sitcom "Big Time Rush." Friday is family night, when 7+ shows the best family movies. For the channel's October 1, 2021 launch, these are "The Pink Panther" Parts 1 and 2, followed by blockbusters like "The Smurfs" Parts 1 and 2, "Zoomania" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." Saturdays are always "SpongeBob SquarePants" time, and on Sunday evenings, movie or series classics like "Sex and the City - the Movie," "Never Sex with Your Ex Again" or "Will & Grace" round out the program.
