The Neum Collective shows the future of camping for MyCamper
The camper rental portal "MyCamper" is currently running a DOOH campaign in Zurich. The witty ads are aimed at a young, adventurous target group. The campaign was developed in collaboration with the Lucerne agency The Neum Collective.
The online portal MyCamper rents out motorhomes and camping vehicles from private individuals to private tenants - similar to the principle of Airbnb. Almost 2000 vehicles are now offered via the portal. "Primarily, we pursued the goal of increasing awareness of the MyCamper brand. The focus was on addressing both potential renters and camper owners with one message at the same time," explains Lars Kienle, project manager at Neum.
Moving and still ads are broadcast at around fifty locations in Zurich. "The ads pick up on real, existing vehicle offers from MyCamper and flank them in a witty and tongue-in-cheek way," explains Joël Wyss, concept manager at Neum.
The original idea for the tonality of the ads was provided by the customer himself. In this respect, the campaign not only fits the target group, but also the culture of the MyCamper brand, which is characterized by startup spirit. "The subjects are ideal for a DOOH campaign: funny, meaningful and very aesthetic," says Justine Lacroix, who was involved in the project on behalf of MyCamper.
