When the Beromünster medium wave transmitter is switched off on December 28, the DRS Musikwelle station can only be heard via Dab, cable, satellite or the Internet. Dab? Cable? Satellite? Internet? Huh?
When the Beromünster medium wave transmitter is switched off on December 28, the DRS Musikwelle station can only be heard via Dab, cable, satellite or the Internet. Dab? Cable? Satellite? Internet? Huh? That's what some loyal Musikwelle fans might say when confronted with these terms. But the folk music scene can breathe a sigh of relief, no one will have to do without Heimat on the radio in future. The station is launching a major listener campaign and will be visiting its listeners at home for two weeks in December and January to advise them personally on all reception issues - operating a digital radio, the Internet or a DAB device will be child's play after the consultant's visit. And DRS Musikwelle will continue to fill the good parlors with home.
