The long-hyped startup made good progress in its expansion, both online and offline. Now Mymuesli is focusing more on the online part and radically streamlining its store network. 20 of the total 23 stores will be closed, only three German locations in Passau, Munich and Geislingen will survive, as the Handelszeitung writes.

The dismantling concerns the Handelszeitung Switzerland as well, according to reports. A company spokeswoman confirmed that the two stores in Bern and Zurich will be closed. "It will affect eleven employees at our two Swiss locations." Exact dates have not yet been set, she said.

According to the latest figures, Mymuesli has an annual turnover of three million euros in Switzerland and intends to continue growing regionally online. The company says it is focusing on French-speaking Switzerland.
