Game TV presents virtual presenter "Anna
Starting soon, «Anna» will be presenting news for the gaming and esports scene on Game TV. She is said to be Switzerland's first virtual anchor and will host the new show GameNews in seven languages starting in December 2020.
According to Game TV, "Anna" is the first presenter in Switzerland who is not made of flesh and blood but is computer-generated. A lot of attention was paid to ensuring that the resemblance to a real person is as great as possible. For example, Anna blinks while she speaks and moves her head and shoulders slightly.
Multilingual for international audience
Anna speaks seven languages in the first phase: German, French, Italian, English, Spanish, Russian and Chinese. Turkish will also be added in subsequent weeks. This multilingualism and global collaboration with over 120 media companies should enable Game TV to reach a broad, international audience.
