Vaudeville Studios illustrates for Quartierspiegel
Vaudeville Studios has drawn 34 large-format cover illustrations for the new Quartierspiegel of Statistik Stadt Zürich.

The Neighborhood Mirror - published by Statistik Stadt Zürich - appears with stories, curiosities, anecdotes and statistics about all 34 quarters of the city on the Limmat. The 34 covers drawn by Vaudeville Studios are based on the historical introductory texts and are full of references and highlights from the past, present and future history of the quarters.
The Quartierspiegel are published individually in bound form with a good 20 pages each and as a complete edition with 34 issues in a slipcase. For the first time, the Quartierspiegel are filled and automatically updated with a layout system.
Project manager Roger Zürcher rode through the city of Zurich for 20 years as a bicycle courier world champion and also knows it from the historical side through his art history studies. Four in-house illustrators from Vaudeville Studios worked on the realization. Posters and a postcard set are also available.

Client: Statistics City of Zurich. Responsible at Vaudeville Studios: Roger Zürcher (project management and illustration), Nicolas Charly (illustration), Sarah Rothenberger (illustration), Leoni Dietrich (illustration). Design: Benjamin Barmettler (Essence Graphics). Photography: Marc Schneider.
