Lily Allen speaks out in favor of masturbation
Through the #Imasturbate campaign and its tagline, «I Masturbate. Do you?», singer Lily Allen is advocating for the destigmatization and liberalization of (female) sexuality and masturbation. Heimat Active is responsible for the campaign’s execution.
To this end, the British woman has entered into a collaboration with Womanizer and now bears the title of "Chief Liberation Officer". In her new role, she wants to make a contribution to creating a more open and sex-positive society.
A recent survey by Womanizer with 7,000 participants from 14 countries has shown that the masturbation gap between the sexes is very high at 68 %. On average, men masturbate 156 times a year, compared to just 50 times for women.
The campaign, which was implemented by Heimat Active, aims to break existing taboos, reduce the masturbation gap and promote the topic of sex positivity within society. As part of the campaign, the singer has also launched a limited edition Womanizer "Liberty by Lily Allen". (pd/swi)
