Play Suisse: SRG streaming platform goes online on November 7
On November 7, SRG will unveil its new streaming platform to the public for the first time at the Geneva International Film Festival. «Play Suisse» is available on computers, smartphones, and smart TVs—as well as an app on Swisscom Blue TV.
The new streaming platform focuses on the whole of Switzerland. SRG content can be used more easily and personalized across language borders by means of subtitling.
The launch will take place as part of the Geneva International Film Festival (GIFF). Direct access to Play Suisse will be facilitated in particular by the technical partnership with Swisscom Blue TV. As a launch partner of Play Suisse, Swisscom will place the platform in its Blue TV app store, thus increasing its visibility.
Talks are underway with other telecom and Internet providers as well as cultural platform partners. In addition, Play Suisse will be available on Playsuisse.ch as well as on iOS and Android mobile platforms from November 7. The number of platforms on which Play Suisse will be available is to be successively expanded.
