A gorilla with a sense of freedom and good taste in music
With an emotional video, PETA Germany aims to draw attention to the plight of great apes in zoos—featuring a gorilla listening to Queen.
Swedish animation studio Fablefx has brought the music-listening ape to life. In the video, a boy quietly watches the gorilla while his friends shout at him. When the visibly annoyed gorilla shoos the other kids away and throws the boy the Walkman, the boy realizes why the gorilla is so depressed: he just wants to be free.
