MRB and Comqed let consumers decide on PET disposal locations

After 30 years of successful PET recycling in Switzerland, one thing is clear: the more recycling options consumers have, the more they recycle. To identify where additional recycling drop-off points are still needed, Metzger Rottman Bürge and Comqed launched a campaign for PET Recycling Switzerland.

As PET Recycling Switzerland is unable to analyze the entire public space for samples, consumers are called upon to help. From now on Pet.ch The locations for PET boxes on public land can be specified and entered on a virtual map. PET-Recycling will then compile all the requested locations and submit them to the decision-makers in the municipalities. The aim is to significantly increase the density of PET boxes in Switzerland.

The extensive online and social media measures are flanked by a DOOH/OOH display. A mailing is sent out to high school students asking them to get involved. And as part of the annual summer initiative of the clean environment interest group "IGSU", the connection between correct waste disposal, recycling and climate protection will be addressed.

The campaign will be running throughout Switzerland from Monday. The social media activities have already been "on air" since this week.
