Head of Communications Patrick Matthey leaves TX Group
Patrick Matthey, Head of Communications at TX Group, is leaving the Zurich-based company. According to a statement released on Tuesday, he will leave the company by summer 2021 at the latest and pursue new career opportunities.
The succession plan has not yet been determined and will be communicated at the appropriate time. Until his departure, Matthey will adapt the communications department to the new structure of the TX Group. The group had recently restructured itself. It is now divided into the four independent companies Tamedia, 20 Minuten, Goldbach and TX Markets.
Patrick Matthey has been responsible for Group-wide communications as its Head since 2018. According to the information, he has been working in the media industry for more than twenty years. Before joining the former Tamedia in 2013, he was a journalist, editor-in-chief and director of private radio and television stations in French-speaking Switzerland for more than fifteen years.
