Sindex now only in 2021
Health comes first: Due to the current uncertainty surrounding planning, the Bernexpo Group is postponing the Sindex 2020 automation trade show until fall 2021.
Bernexpo Groupe is shifting its focus with the Sindex The current situation, the associated economic development and the short- and medium-term forecasts are challenging for a large part of the markets and the entire industry. Under these general conditions, the expectations of exhibitors, visitors and other partners of Sindex in terms of quality, professionalism and attractiveness as well as the demands of Bernexpo Groupe as organizer cannot be met.
Surveys among exhibitors, interested parties and partners have confirmed the great interest and importance and also the need to postpone Sindex. Irrespective of official Covid 19 requirements, Bernexpo Groupe has decided to postpone Sindex to August 31 - September 2, 2021. The biennial rhythm will remain, with the rotation changing to odd-numbered years (2021, 2023, 2025). This decision is intended to provide clarity and planning security for all parties involved.
Com-Ex is also postponed
As with Sindex, the "Com-Ex" trade fair for communications infrastructure, which will be held in parallel, will also be moved to September 2021. The combination of dates will create organizational and content-related synergies that will offer both exhibitors and visitors attractive added value.
