Jung von Matt/Limmat: Damage or no damage goes into the second round
In 2020, Jung von Matt/Limmat is launching the second phase of Mobiliar’s surplus fund campaign. The slogan «Whatever happens—we’ll share our success with you» will be featured in TV commercials, an online campaign, and an interactive contest.

With "Dear Mobiliar", the 2020 surplus fund campaign takes viewers on a journey into real and fantastic scenarios relating to Mobiliar's insurance benefits. The promise of the surplus fund - "whatever happens - we will share our success with you" - takes on additional meaning in the current situation and applies: even in stormy times, customers receive a profit share of 175 million in the form of premium reductions thanks to Mobiliar's cooperative roots.
Of elephants, canoes and lucky coincidences
The two TVCs in the surplus fund campaign show what happens when nothing happens. The proverbial elephant in the china store is brought to life and a canoe almost causes a medium-sized disaster during a family outing in the countryside - but only almost. The elephant doesn't live up to its reputation either, so no vases or cups shatter in the china store and everything remains intact. The china store TVC was created with the help of CGI technology.
Damage or not?
Based on the family trip in the TV commercial, the "camping odyssey" takes place online. Display ads lead users to an interactive competition on the Mobiliar website. In the competition, participants can guess whether or not damage occurs in the video of the camping trip shown. They can win a voucher for outdoor equipment from the store of their choice, which also supports local businesses. The TVC content will also be shown at digital out-of-home locations, on social media in the form of short snippets and in banner form in various online media.
