How long have you been in a home office?
For 17 years and 3 weeks;)
Is your entire agency located in a home office?
Yes, unfortunately. It does.
Did you face any technical problems when setting up your workstation back then?
Those who know me know that I always have to deal with technical problems. But not the agency.
Where have you set up?
Sometimes there, sometimes there. But preferably there, where I just think of something.
The coronavirus has society firmly in its grip. Those who can stay at home, stay at home. The advertising, communications and marketing industry is also shifting operations to the home office on a large scale. What all do you need to be able to do your job?
As always: my head and my heart.
Is it difficult to separate yourself enough when the children are at home?
In that case, I am the child. And it's really hard for me to distance myself from that.
Do you have home office experience or is this a first?
No, not a premiere. And hopefully also no Kehraus.

Which processes are difficult compared to the normal everyday life of an agency?
Communication. Nevertheless.
Which jobs go smoothly?
As always: the complex, the demanding, the insurmountable tasks work out without a hitch.
Is there anything that even works easier or more productively in the home office?
The discipline. Not that we don't have any otherwise;)
What do they do about the ceiling falling on your head?
A headstand.

Has something like home office jitters started to set in for you?
No, actually not. Only from the BAG home office cook I get slowly but surely a tantrum.
What do you miss most about the physical day-to-day life at the agency?
Mich.
Are you confident that your agency will come through the crisis unscathed?
There I keep it with Socrates: "I know that I know nothing".
As we all know, everything has its positive sides. What is it in your current home office situation?
I can hear the messages. But I lack faith.
When and why did you last laugh in connection with the home office?
When my favorite poem came to mind again:
"I sit there and' eat Klops
uff eemal klopp's
Ick kieke, staunen, wundre mir,
All of a sudden she goes to the door.
Nanu, think ick, ick think nanu
now it's open, first it was closed!
Ick jehe raus and kieke
and who is standing outside? Icke!"
Even if you don't have a crystal ball: Do you expect the current situation to continue for a long time?
I'm glad you asked. I happen to have a crystal ball: a whole generation.
What would you like to give your colleagues in the industry to take with them through the crisis?
The definition of happiness. "Easily one sit and no appointments" (Harald Junke).
