20 Minuten merges lifestyle sections
The lifestyle sections of 20 Minuten and the editorial team of 20 Minuten Friday will merge on June 1, 2020, to form a single lifestyle division under the leadership of Marc-André Capeder and Geraldine Schläpfer. Christina Duss, previously co-editor-in-chief of 20 Minuten Friday, will take over as head of the People section at 20 Minuten.

20 minutes and 20 Minutes Friday are bundling their lifestyle expertise as of June 1, 2020. The lifestyle departments (Body & Soul, Travel, Living, Cooking, Car & Motor and Wine Cellar) of 20 minutes and the editorial staff of 20 Minutes Fridaywhich has been publishing purely digitally since January 2020, will be merged into a new lifestyle world. The aim is to "offer users even more with concentrated lifestyle expertise," TX Group wrote in a statement on Wednesday. The detailed concept is currently being developed and is to be introduced by the end of summer 2020.
The new department will be co-chaired by Geraldine Schläpfer, previously head of Body & Soul. 20 minutes, and Marc-André Capeder, currently Co-Editorial Director 20 Minutes Friday. Christina Duss, former Co-Editorial Director 20 Minutes Friday, will take over as Head of the People Division - also as of June 1, 2020 - at 20 minutes. She succeeds Martin Fischer, who 20 minutes Towards Tages-Anzeiger leaves. Schimun Krausz remains Deputy Head of the People Department.
