Jung von Matt/brand identity realizes name and appearance for Foresense
The University of St. Gallen has launched an international flagship program that will take place annually starting in September 2020. Jung von Matt/brand developed the brand identity and communication materials for Foresense.

The Executive School of Management, Technology and Law is the organization for continuing education at the University of St.Gallen. Foresense will be at the forefront of its continuing education portfolio from the fall. In this three-day program, first-class speakers and selected guests inspire each other to rethink and innovate. "Foresense offers top international executives a deep understanding of the changing world in which they operate," says Dr. Bettina Hartmann, Director of Foresense, "The program provides access to knowledge, tools and networks to create long-term, sustainable value for business and society."
Jung von Matt/brand identity worked together with the Foresense team to develop the positioning of the event, the name and the appearance. The website and other communication materials, including giveaways, were also created by the agency.
Of mindset shifts and disruptive imagery
The developed appearance should convey the ambition and value of the new program and guarantee recognition within the framework of the university's existing corporate design. The brand name expresses the forward-looking orientation and the claim to meaningfulness. The desired "mindset shift" runs through the entire design of Foresense: a drawn word mark, the disruptive imagery and the interplay of classic typography with sketchy design elements are intended to emphasize the idea of changing thought patterns. A personalized notebook with guidelines and inspirational impulses serves as an invitation to the launch of the program. Jung von Matt/brand identity also created a promotional fold-out poster for Foresense as well as stationery, a website and newsletters.
