Advertising that no one should see

When even an out-of-home media company is urging the public to stay home, it becomes clear that the situation is serious.

In Israel, attempts are currently being made not only chocolate manufacturer, to contribute something to the fight against the corona virus. Tel Aviv-Jaffa-based OOH billboard operator Edri-8 is using a giant digital billboard on Tel Aviv's main thoroughfare to encourage residents to stay home. Namely, with the words "You Are Not Supposed to Look at This Billboard!" viewers are reprimanded for being in that location and reading the billboard instead of being isolated at home. After all, the company uses even more "presentable" words than Frankfurt's Florian Reifschneider with his #StayTheFuckHome hashtag - but the message is the same.

Remarkable when you consider that the company actually lives from this Reach and will probably suffer from the current crisis. But in times like these, health is more important than business. Kudos to Edri-8 and the agency responsible, M&C Saatchi.
