Dogs should be checked by the vet from time to time, so that any complaints can be treated in time. The best time is once a year. In France, however, most dog owners skip the appointment. Many health aches and pains can be remedied with a change in diet. Says at least the dog food manufacturer Purina. Purina offers various special foods that can prevent diabetes and bladder infections, among other things.
The solution: the "Street-Vet". A smart poster stand that uses pheromones to invite dogs to lift their legs while it examines their urine. The result is immediately shown on the screen. So that owner and master know immediately which special food should be on the shopping list from now on.
How long the installation was operated and whether it really worked so reliably - you don't really know. And as for equality, the street vet unfortunately only treats males. Nevertheless, the extraordinary campaign won gold at the Epica Awards in the "Food" category.
