New NZZ am Sonntag magazine appears from Sunday

The new Weekly magazine the NZZ on Sunday comes in comparison to the NZZ on Sunday visually more opulent, the content more emotional, younger and more personal. It replaces the previous tabloid "Society" and the magazine Style and offers the readership of the NZZ on Sunday weekly reports, interviews, portraits, essays and columns from the areas of society and lifestyle.

"With the magazine, we want to offer our existing subscribers real added value and at the same time appeal to new and younger readers. The magazine is deliberately designed as a print product because we are convinced that there is still - and more than ever - a demand for high-quality, carefully researched content," explains Luzi Bernet, Editor-in-Chief of the NZZ on Sunday.

Old and new content

Popular rubrics from the society bunch and the Style-magazine such as "Has it got style", "Canon of popular culture" and "Recipes by Christina Hubbeling" can also be found in the NZZ am Sonntag Magazine again. New content and columns serve as new fixed points for Sunday reading pleasure.

Nicole Althaus, since 2014 member of the editorial board of the NZZ on Sunday and Editor-in-Chief of Magazines: "With this magazine, we are breaking new ground in publishing. Social and lifestyle topics are not thought of separately here, but are combined in an unpretentious way. Just as happens in the everyday life of every person. The NZZ am Sonntag Magazine is published as a weekly supplement of the NZZ on Sunday, at no extra charge for subscribers and purchasers of the printed edition. In addition, the content is available as e-paper and can be found on NZZAS.nzz.ch and Bellevue.nzz.ch.
