Nicole Meier becomes new editor-in-chief of Keystone-SDA
There is a change in leadership at Keystone-SDA. Winfried Kösters, who has headed the German-language editorial department for 17 years, is stepping down as editor-in-chief at his own request effective the end of March 2020. Nicole Meier will take over as editor-in-chief. Meier has been working for the SDA (now Keystone-SDA) since August 1, 2009.

Nicole Meier succeeds Winfried Kösters.
On October 1, 2013, Meier took over as head of the domestic editorial team, which also includes the new regional offices in German-speaking Switzerland. In the course of the restructuring, he also took over the management of the foreign editorial office.
In the future, the 60-year-old Kösters will be responsible for Keystone-SDA's German-language night service as an editor based in Sydney. The news agency wants to focus the night service even more on the needs of customers in the early morning.
Thomas Oswald, previously editor at Keystone-SDA's Sydney bureau, is moving from Sydney to Bern. As head of news, the 38-year-old will be in charge of the domestic and foreign editorial teams. He will also be responsible for the Federal Palace, Federal Courts, Science and Culture editorial teams. The Keystone-SDA editorial team will in future include Nicole Meier, head of the German-language editorial department, Federico Bragagnini, head of the French-language editorial department, Alessio Togni, head of the Italian-language editorial department, and Sandro Mühlebach, head of the sports editorial department. Marcus Hebein heads this team.
