On the pitch, Hertha Berlin coach Lucien Favre has his players under control. In the parking lot, however, their main sponsor Audi dominates. And it now has clear rules about parking in front of the stadium. The rule is: if you don't drive an Audi, you are not allowed to park in front of the stadium.
Many of Hertha Berlin's regular players drive other makes of car. And because their cars are parked in the front row in front of the stadium, the "wrong" brands are often present in photos and television pictures. At least Hertha sponsor Audi is convinced of this. The situation has been unpleasant for the sponsor for some time. It intervened with the club almost daily. Now, after a number of complaints, the sponsor has obtained a parking ban. According to 20min.ch, non-Audis had to park their cars in the backyard last Sunday. Coach Favre's car was parked in the first row in front of the stadium - an Audi, of course.
