Democracy in France: citizens elect burgers
Burger King calls on voters in France to go to the polls. Buzzman promotes the campaign with an amusing commercial.
Political discussions are good - but please not at the dinner table. The Buzzman agency is calling for burger democracy and promoting the integrated campaign with a TV spot and print suites. The highlight: Via Burger King app, all users can vote on which burger will cost only 2 euros in the following week. The products available are Crispy Chicken, Big King, Big Fish, Whopper, Chicken Tendercrisp, Steakhouse, BBQ Cheese & Bacon and Bacon Lover.
Burgers at knockdown prices? Certainly questionable from an ethical point of view. But otherwise politically correct: "Not since De Gaulle have the French had so much to decide," the agency exults in a statement on Monday. The campaign runs from September 2 to October 6.
