Exuberant mood at the Swiss BBQ in Cannes
This year, for the first time, the Swiss BBQ of the Cannes representative Werbeweischer Schweiz was not held directly on the Croisette, but on the Boulevard Jean Hibert. Werbewoche was there.

The Swiss BBQ at the Cannes Linos, hosted by Werbeweischer, has a long tradition and was once again the meeting point for the Swiss advertising and communications industry.
The premiere, however, was the location. But the O'Key Beach was commented positively by the invited guests, it was cozy and somewhat quieter than on the Croisette. From 12 to 3 p.m. there was netting, eating, drinking and looking at the sea.
Lively discussions about the future of advertising were part of the exchange, as was the discussion of new projects. In such a relaxed atmosphere, the cross-agency exchange of advertising greats like Dennis Lück, Matthias Kiess, Manuel Wenzel and Frank Bodin succeeded perfectly. The world looks a little different in shorts and with a burnt nose anyway.
Google Switzerland boss Patrick Warnking chatted with IAB Switzerland boss Roger Baur, Tom Hanan and his brother Chris had a good-humored toast with everyone, and Christof Kaufmann of Werbeweischer Schweiz and host of the event drew a positive conclusion.
With 70 invited guests, the location was well attended, but not overcrowded. Some of the Young Ones put on their swimming trunks towards the end, around 3 p.m., and jumped into the cool water.

New location, proven sea view: The Swiss BBQ took place this year on Boulevard Jean Hibert at the O'Key Beach restaurant.

Around 70 guests accepted the invitation from Werbeweischer Schweiz. The O'Key Beach offered everything the heart desires. View of the sea, rosé, the Swiss advertising scene in shorts and with red cheeks (...and noses).
Tattoo challenge on the beach: The media world - here Christian Beck from Persoenlich.com - can't quite keep up with the advertising world when it comes to body painting.
