The Evian babies are back

Some ideas never get old. But neither do better ones necessarily. BETC brings the iconic Evian babies back to the advertising stage.

June 12 sees the launch of the new Evian campaign: a 45-second spot will be shown in France, the UK, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland. BETC Paris is taking up a classic that has characterized the brand's image for over twenty years: Babies behaving like adults, thus symbolizing the claim "Live young". Awaken the inner child and - not least thanks to Mineral Water, the Fountain of Youth - go through life a little more relaxed. Drinking lots of water keeps you young longer.

Already in 2009 launched Evian a hip-hop video with the babies and repeats the concept ten years later. The 2019 version is underpinned by the Jungle Book cover "The Baby Bare Necessities" by rapper Jay Prince.

The idea of putting adults in the role of babies (and vice versa) goes down incredibly well with many people. Whether the spots are cute or rather silly is probably a matter of taste. Decide for yourself.

The TVC is accompanied by numerous online and offline measures. For example, the soundtrack will be sold on vinyl and a wide range of merchandise will be sold. In addition, various print ads will be placed - a mini Stan Wawrinka can also be seen on the Wimbledon motif.
