Joint management for editorial offices of online medium Zentralplus
The Central Switzerland online medium Zentralplus is merging its Lucerne and Zug editorial teams under one management. The new head is Lena Berger, who previously headed the regional department of Zentralschweiz am Sonntag and whose appointment was recently announced.

Berger will take over as editorial director as of June 1, as the publisher MMV Online announced on Friday. Before her time at the Sonntagsblatt, the 32-year-old wrote for the Lucerne Newspaper and 20 minutes. Berger is quoted as saying that she is pleased to work for a medium that puts journalism and not profit first.
The previous head of the Lucerne editorial office, Linus Estermann, will now be deputy head of the jointly managed editorial offices. The previous head of the Zug editorial office, Christian Hug, will in future concentrate on his role as CEO.
The online magazine was launched in 2013 and currently employs 15 people. Every month, the platform is visited by around 200,000 users from the Lucerne and Zug regions.
