Swiss startup Ticketfrog wins international ticketing award

The Ticketing Business Awards are the only international awards ceremony that covers the entire spectrum of the global ticketing industry. An international jury of ticketing industry leaders and an online voting system selected the winners in 10 categories from several hundred nominations at the two-day International Ticketing Business Forum held at Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester.

Globally unique business model

In its statement, the jury particularly emphasized the Swiss start-up's disruptive business model: Ticketfrog is financed via vouchers on the tickets and not, like all other online ticketing providers worldwide, via fees or fixed costs that are charged to the organizer or buyer. With Ticketfrog's free self-ticketing platform, even small and medium-sized organizers of all kinds can afford professional electronic ticketing including payment, entrance scanner, seating plan, sales statistics and integrated marketing options. In addition to Ticketfrog, the finalists for the Disruptor Award in Manchester also included ticketing providers from the Netherlands, Germany, the USA and the UK.

Recognition by international jury

Almost a year to the day after winning the Masters of Swiss Web, the most important award in the Swiss web industry, and following various innovation prizes, Ticketfrog can celebrate another major success by winning this international industry award, and the fact that the nomination was made by an international jury of industry leaders underlines the potential that the Swiss startup has internationally.
