Starting signal for educational platform micelab:bodensee
EDUCATION The Bodensee Meeting and "der kongress tanzt" networks have been researching innovative congress formats for three years. From October, the entire event industry in the German-speaking region will benefit from the richly filled creative pool - as the micelab:bodensee educational platform.

(Copyright: micelab:bodensee)Congresses and events should be lively and offer a creative field for joyful learning and lively exchange. In order to achieve this goal, the members of the Bodensee Meeting network have been working intensively on this in the "mice lab" since 2013 - together with experts from the event industry and other disciplines such as architecture, theater, sociology and communication. The process is supported by the "der kongress tanzt" network led by event dramaturge Tina Gadow and journalist Michael Gleich, and the initiators have now used their findings to develop the first educational platform for event organizers in German-speaking countries: "micelab:bodensee" comprises three modules with different focuses. The "explorer" module focuses on research. "experts" and "experience" are aimed at employees of event venues, event agencies and cultural institutions. The EU-funded Interreg V project starts at the beginning of October. "In recent years, the Lake Constance region has developed into an impulse center for innovative congresses. With micelab:bodensee, we also want to play a pioneering role in further education. Ultimately, the research and learning field benefits everyone - event organizers, employees and participants," emphasizes Gerhard Stübe, spokesperson for the Bodensee Meeting network and Managing Director of Kongresskultur Bregenz.
