Ticino Open Doors gives insight into the conference and incentive possibilities

TESSIN In September, Ticino Turismo invites you to the Ticino Open Doors event, which presents the region as a destination for events and gives you the opportunity to get to know the various event locations in person.

On the Gulf of Lugano da Castagnola.With the opening of the Gotthard Base Tunnel, Ticino is not only becoming more attractive for vacation guests, but also for the Swiss conference and event sector. That's why Ticino Open Doors will give guests the opportunity to get to know a variety of locations for events and seminars as well as regional event organizations from 4 - 6 September 2016. The event begins on Sunday afternoon with program suggestions for the regions of Bellinzona and North Ticino, Lake Maggiore and Valleys, Lake Lugano and Mendrisiotto, where participants can already get to know attractive incentive activities. This includes a trip on the special Gottardino train, which is sure to be a special experience this summer and fall. The SBB offers a package for groups of 10 to 240 people, which includes a tour of the multifunctional Sedrun station, more than 800 meters below the mountain, where an unforgettable Gotthard experience can be integrated into a meeting or conference as a supporting programme. Participants will be among the privileged few who will ever be able to get out of the Gotthard Base Tunnel. Monday will then begin with a workshop, followed by various site inspections and a get-together event in the evening at the LAC, the new art and culture center of the city of Lugano. The event will conclude on Tuesday morning, September 6, 2016, with further visits to various locations in Lugano.
