Dr. Stephan Sigrist, founder of the think tank W.I.R.E., has been invited to give the keynote speech. In his presentation "The big noise", he explains that more data generally means more knowledge and more transparency. In his eyes, however, the rise of the data society may not bring more clarity, but the opposite: more half-knowledge and a lack of transparency. In future, this could force us not to outsource decisions to statistics, but to finally think for ourselves again. And it opens up a new task for marketing.
