National community music project by 20 Minuten and Coop

COMMUNITY What does Switzerland actually sound like? 20 Minuten and Coop want to answer this question in the fall of 2015 and are launching the community music project «This Is What Switzerland Sounds Like.». Four musicians - SNOOK from Graubünden, Alejandro Reyes from French-speaking Switzerland, Make Plain from Ticino and Anna Känzig from German-speaking Switzerland - form a band under the direction of Roman Camenzind and sing together in all four national languages. They get help from the Swiss music scene: 20 Minuten and Coop cast singers and musicians from all language regions of Switzerland to support the professionals. And for the chorus, the whole country comes into play: the Swiss population forms Switzerland's largest choir.The casting - platform for talents from all regionsThe experiment kicks off on September 7 in the form of a casting. All four artists are calling on musicians and singers to apply for their band via the 20 Minuten channels and their own networks in their regions.Refrain - the whole of Switzerland in one songFrom September 25, the public will be invited to sing or dance along to the chorus of the song via the new 20-minute app, upload the video and thus contribute to the song's music video, which will then be released on October 19, 2015 over 20 minutes.
