When the brand becomes a TV station

COMMUNICATION From Internettv.ch to Yoveo TV: Ipmedia's Swiss web TV portal becomes a spin-off and offers companies the opportunity to manage their own video channel. The aim is to increase branding and customer contacts. The Ipmedia AG has been in video production since 2008, packaging corporate stories into moving images. Part of the company's offering was the channel site Internettv.ch. There, companies had the opportunity to use their own channel to get their messages out there through videos. Over time, the demand from companies for their own video site grew rapidly. So Ipmedia decided to found a spin-off company.YouTube for business Since the beginning of 2015, Internettv.ch has been managed under the umbrella of Yoveo AG. The technical upgrade of the portal is still underway. In the fall, Yoveo TV will go online and position itself as the largest Swiss video portal.Led by Marc Lottenbach, the Yoveo team sees itself primarily as an interface between customers and their moving image communication. "We help companies work out their video content marketing strategy and also advise them on technical challenges," Lottenbach explains. Yoveo TV can be seen as YouTube for businesses. The difference is that the usage and marketing rights remain with the customer. The distraction of third-party providers, such as advertising before the video, also does not exist with the company's own channel. In addition, Yoveo TV offers significantly more opportunities for brand management.Turning the brand into a TV stationWhether it's a CEO talk, explainer video, sports reports or polls, the channel operator has free choice as far as content is concerned. Video asset management is available to them for appropriate management, The content can then be distributed on social media. Integration on SmartTV, SRF-Plus, and Apple TV should also be possible. And most importantly, the site is responsive. With this, the company is focusing on the "mobile first" strategy. "All these possibilities transform the brand into a TV station," says Marc Lottenbach. Yoveo AG shows the way: on www.yoveo.ch presents the company and their offer - of course with videos.Take off with videosIn the sports sector in particular, people are turning to moving images to make sure they don't miss a single game.
