O. Kleiner AG relies on digital printing

Kleiner AG, the company was convinced of the new digital printing technology at an early stage and followed developments on the market closely. In addition to flexographic and gravure printing, the family-owned company has therefore been focusing on digital printing for several years. However, the biggest problem up to now was that the printing width of the digital printing machines was limited.With the latest system from Hewlett Packard, the HP20000, this problem is a thing of the past. With a print width of 736mmm, the press opens up new possibilities in flexible packaging printing. The world's first commercial system has now been installed at O. Kleiner AG and is about to go into production. CEO Martin Kleiner was visibly proud at the official presentation of the new digital center. "We have waited over 15 years for this moment" said Kleiner. "Thanks to the expanded printing width, we can now fulfill a long-held wish of many of our customers."New packaging solution launchedBut the new Digital Center is not the only innovation from O. Kleiner AG. As a further highlight, the company based in Wohlen AG is launching its own brand name "Brainypack". The user-friendly bag with a resealable screw cap can be emptied easily and without "gurgling", even with different filling quantities, thanks to integrated handles. In addition, it holds great advantages especially for transport, storage and disposal.

Brainypack packaging solution is suitable for various fillings such as window cleaner, paint, mayonnaise or dog food. "Brainypack" is versatile (for food and non-food fill goods for quantities of two to twenty liters), can be printed in all three O. Kleiner AG printing processes (transparent or colored white) and, thanks to complete emptying, generates significantly less disposal weight and costs than conventional rigid packaging.Thanks to lower consumption of raw materials and energy in production and the possible use of O.
