Knowledge exchange, product comparison and new technology

Event organizers can find out about the latest technology at the "ligth & sound" trade fair. The trade fair "light & sound" is the industry meeting place for dealers, media/stage technicians and event organizers from all over Switzerland. Manufacturers and distributors show trade visitors high-quality technology from the fields of audio, studio, AV and stage technology, broadcasting, fixed installations, DJ equipment and home recording. Service companies present their know-how in the project planning, planning and implementation of events.Lectures and workshopsOver 25 specialist presentations with a focus on radio frequencies:

• Frequency management: The coordination of radio frequencies at live events
• National radio frequency database PMSE and its application
• Legal situation and outlook for future frequency spectrum
• Experiences with frequency changes and their effects abroad

Vocational training in sound and event technologyAt the trade fair, schools and industry associations will present the training and further education courses on offer in sound and event technology, training objectives, job profiles and admission requirements. The Swiss Association of Pyrotechnics Training Centers AZP will also be present for the first time, providing information on the new Explosives Ordinance, which requires a federal certificate for handling indoor or outdoor pyrotechnics.Test sonication and comparison of beam steering & beam shapingFor the first time, a cross-manufacturer comparison test of this innovative and up-to-date technology is being carried out with various manufacturers. Comparisons of beam steering products are rare and until now have only taken place during test sonications in a construction project, in each case in private.Presentation of sound systems in the outdoor areaExhibitors present their sound systems on the open-air stage in the outdoor area. The systems will be played and presented live. Visitors can make their own personal judgment during the listening test. Presentation times daily in the open-air area near Hall 1.
