The focus is on promoting and awarding holistic packaging solutions, regardless of the packaging material. The jury will be newly composed: There will now be two jury members per category (except for the newcomer award), and one jury member per packaging material. The jury president is also new: Stefan Jüde, Marketing and Sales Manager at Müller Kartonagen AG.Innovative packaging solutions soughtSwiss Packaging stands for innovative and forward-looking packaging solutions in Switzerland. Participants benefit from the opportunity to present themselves as a company to a broad public. Taking part is worthwhile: a win or a nomination brings the company a high level of attention and also confirms the company's own performance and motivates the employees. All award-winning and nominated packaging and the companies or persons involved in it (developers, designers, manufacturers, clients) may use the official signet. Furthermore, the award-winning packaging can participate in the World Star, the competition of the World Packaging Organization (WPO).Consumers also voteIn addition to the Swiss Packaging Award, the Audience Award is presented. Here, it is not the jury but the consumers who decide on their packaging of the year. The result of the public vote also provides information about the preferences and motivation of consumers. This can also be used by companies as an indicator for future developments. Voting for the Audience Award will start in July 2014.
