The 12 winners of the Swiss Star 2013

SWISS STAR The SVI is holding the Swiss Star packaging competition for the 44th time. 12 packages have won.

The audience award was won by "Appezölle Hüüsli" from Equisa Verpackungen AG.51 entries of which 20 were nominated and 12 won. The Swiss Star 2013 packaging competition was again a success this year. With the Swiss Star, the Swiss Packaging Institute SVI honors outstanding achievements in packaging. The aim of the competition is to showcase the creativity and innovative strength of the Swiss packaging industry. Thus, the award represents the flagship of the industry. This year, the field of participants mainly represented the packaging materials corrugated board, fine cardboard and plastics."Appezölle Hüüsli" wins audience awardThe 2013 Audience Award was won by the "Appezölle Hüüsli" from Equisa Verpackungen AG. The packaging shows a typical Appenzell house filled with specialties from the region. This is intended to increase recognition especially among tourists, but also among locals. The aim of this packaging is to highlight the regionality of the product.
