Wettstein moves from Blick to online portal Nau.ch
As of January 1, 2019, Michel Wettstein, one of Switzerland's most experienced soccer reporters, will join Nau.ch as Chief Soccer Reporter. "Almost like a new love," he says.
Michel Wettstein strengthens with his rich experience from January 2019 the team of Nau. The 54-year-old Zurich native will become chief football reporter at the new digital media company. Wettstein worked for the sports desk of Blick for 23 years, most recently as a soccer reporter.
Nau editor-in-chief Micha Zbinden: "Whether Super League, Nati games or Champions League, Wettstein will be on the spot for Nau in the future. He has a huge network of contacts, asks the cheekiest questions and is considered a colorful dog in the Super League. He's a great fit for us."
Michel Wettstein is looking forward to tackling the new professional challenge: "I'm highly motivated. A new job is almost like a new love."
