Martin Arnold has worked at the agency on Bürglistrasse in Zurich for the past two years. First as a freelancer for six months, then, since July 2017, as Head of Creation and member of the Executive Board. He succeeded Annette Häcki, who previously held the creative management position (Werbewoche.ch reported).

Arnold's creative direction led to the successful campaigns for Wingo ("Don't pay twice" and "Surf doch wo du willst") and Love Life ("Safer Sex Check" and "Machs mit und gewinne"). In 2018, the agency won its first ADC Gold Cube and gold at the German film award Die Klappe.

Rod partner Pablo Koerfer said in a statement on Tuesday evening: "Martin has formed a powerful creative team in a very short space of time. With his expertise, he has helped both our agency and our employees to progress. We are grateful to him for this."

And Martin Arnold: "I can look back on a very productive time at Rod. Before I move on to the next task, I will certainly let the old year come to an end. I wish Rod all the best and would like to thank them for their cooperation."

Before joining Rod Kommunikation, Martin Arnold worked as a CD at Leo Burnett, as a copywriter and concept developer at the digital agency AKQA in New York and at Walker, Spillmann/Felser/Leo Burnett and Wirz in Zurich. He is a long-standing member of ADC Switzerland and D&AD. Arnold has already left the agency.
