Tarkan Özküp moves from Credit Suisse to Watson and AZ Medien

Tarkan Özküp will take up his position at news portal Watson on February 1, 2019. As Chief Commercial Officer and deputy to CEO Michael Wanner, he will be responsible for sales, marketing and new projects. At the same time, he will be a member of a newly forming management team at AZ Medien, responsible for establishing and developing new strategic business areas.

Özküp worked for the major Swiss bank Credit Suisse for over ten years, including seven years in marketing responsibility for all areas of the retail, business and private client business until August 2018. Prior to that, Özküp worked in media marketing, including at Cinecom/Régie Média Belge and in a management position at TeleZüri and Radio 24 (Belcom/Tamedia).

The previous Head of Sales, Cedrick Wolf, is leaving the company at his own request and is seeking a new professional challenge. As of February 1, 2019, the management of AZ Medien will be composed as follows: Michael Wanner, Delegate of the Board of Directors, Tarkan Özküp, Chief Business Development Officer, Jean-Claude Vogel, Chief Financial Officer.
