SBB again chooses Evoq and GeOps as partners
SBB has once again awarded the Trafimage contract to the Evoq | GeOps consortium. This marks the beginning of a new chapter for SBB’s station plans and maps. The focus is on the continuous, user-centered development of existing products.
ARGE was able to secure the mandate in an open invitation procedure. Evoq has been supporting Trafimage since 2006, and for the past five years together with the IT service provider GeOps. Trafimage comprises a complete product range for the visualization of public transport services in Switzerland. The Trafimage maps focus on the comprehensive cartographic representation of the public transport networks in print as well as online applications, while the station maps show all station offers in clear graphics. The two product families are increasingly merging into a unified information system whose dynamic content is also used in other systems. They are thus an integral part of customer guidance in public transport. The mandate for Evoq and GeOps includes ongoing maintenance of the entire product range as well as and further development of the system, especially in the online area.
