Christof Zogg becomes CEO of Starticket
Christof Zogg will take over as head of the ticketing company Starticket effective January 1, 2019. He previously served as Director of Digital Business for Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) for four years.

At SBB, Zogg's responsibilities included the successful redevelopment of the digital touchpoints SBB Mobile and SBB.ch, during which time he tripled digital ticket sales. Christof Zogg led a 50-strong team of digital technology, sales and marketing specialists. Before joining SBB, he held various positions at Microsoft Switzerland for eight years, most recently as Director Developer & Platform Group and member of the Management Board.
"Christof Zogg has successfully driven digital sales at SBB and, with his in-depth experience in digital business, brings with him the best prerequisites to further strengthen Starticket as a service provider. On behalf of Tamedia's management, I wish him a good start and expect that we will continue Starticket's success story together with our customers and partners," says Samuel Hügli, Member of the Management Board and Head of Technology & Investments at Tamedia.
Christof Zogg takes over as CEO from Stefan Riedel, who has left the company. Starticket was founded in 2003 and distributes several million tickets annually for events throughout Switzerland via a network of 1,500 ticket agencies, call centers and directly via Starticket.ch.
