Sir Roger
In July, Roger Federer was eliminated from Wimbledon far too early. The posters that McCann London created for the tournament are still worth seeing, though.

"History is there to be beaten", say the posters announcing the most prestigious and historic tennis tournament in the world. In the case of Roger Federer, however, it is likely to be rather difficult for future generations to make any history on the English green. Even if things didn't go his way in 2018, he has won Wimbledon no fewer than eight times. That's not only a record, it's probably also unassailable for many years to come. Perhaps it will be enough for the 200 bill in the next banknote relaunch?
Garbine Muguruza (2017 Wimbledon winner) and Serena Williams (seven-time Wimbledon winner) also achieved illustration honors. (hae)
