MetaDesign creates campaign for Lucerne Festival
Childhood is a phase of life, a phenomenon and a fascination at the same time. It stands for departure and beginning, exploration and discovery. For family and first friendships. For the privilege of making your own sense of everything. For thoughts and ideas that are absolutely free.

Lucerne Festival explores the theme of childhood musically at the Summer Festival. The festival summer opens this Friday, August 17, lasts until September 16, 2018, and once again brings the world's stars of classical music to Lucerne. MetaDesign developed the advertising campaign as a partner for strategic brand management and communication. The campaign motif shows children listening to a shell. It illustrates a typically childlike and sometimes magical listening experience from childhood.
Michael Haefliger, artistic director Lucerne Festival: "For some, childhood is a place of longing, the lost paradise from a phase of life when everything was still fine. For others, the memories are less positive, and that usually has to do with the time or the social circumstances into which they were born, or with the people among whom they grew up. Children represent innocence, love, the future, perhaps something divine. My wish for all of us in the Lucerne Summer of 2018 is that we learn again the wonder of childhood and that curiosity is awakened."
Michel Gabriel, Managing Director MetaDesign: "The Lucerne Festival and the Summer Festival have a special appeal, not only as an institution, cultural event and brand. For us as an agency, it is a privilege every year to be able to deal strategically and creatively with the festival theme and to inspire the audience for it."
