Avoid outdated films with Canal+ and BETC

Canal+ will air «Dunkirk» before any other network and is promoting the premiere with its own TV commercial.

Christopher Nolan's remarkable work is without doubt one of the most impressive (and oppressive) war films of modern times. Anyone who has seen the film with its sweeping images and oppressive tranquillity in the cinema can count themselves lucky. Everyone else can watch it on their TV at home. If you are a Canal+ subscriber, you will be able to do so soon. The Parisian agency BETC has created a special commercial to promote the broadcast. Message: It's better to watch movies while they're still young. In stark contrast to the two Spitfire pilots, whose age has already left its mark. For the commercial, new studio recordings of the old ones were presumably mixed with film scenes - otherwise the production would probably have exceeded any budget. (hae)
